Our Story

Pacific Northwest fruit trees require billions of honeybees every year to pollinate their blossoms.  This gives the bees amazing resources to build up their brood boxes before heading to their summer honey grounds.

True, single-source raw honey straight from the hive. The Pacific Northwest produces some of the most unique varietal honeys in the world, and we’re proud to share them exactly as the bees made them.

We built real relationships with beekeepers. These friendships are years in the making. We learned about hive health, bee care, and the rhythms of different floral nectar sources. The beekeepers shared their knowledge and experience with us every season. And along the way, we were introduced to something most people never experience: true, single-source raw honey straight from the hive. It's the only honey our families will eat, and we want you to enjoy the same experience!

Our honey isn't perfectly clear or uniform, but it's consistently PURE and just the way the bees delivered it.

It varies in color and texture. Sometimes it crystallizes. It carries depth, aroma, and character we had never tasted before.

Before long, our families had favorites for every occasion. Friends started asking where we got it.

That question kept coming up, and eventually, it became the Kind Word Bee Company.

Today, we carefully seek out, test, and curate our favorite single-source raw honeys from across the Pacific Northwest. Each varietal is chosen for its integrity, flavor, and authenticity. We never heat our honey. We never ultra-filter. We strain gently with cheesecloth and leave the rest alone.

Impact in the
World of Honeybees

We work within a honey co-op committed to sustainable beekeeping practices and hold ourselves and our partners to the same standard.

We don't just harvest honey.  We care for what makes it possible.

Every jar of Kind Word Bee honey supports healthy hives, thoughtful beekeeping, and land managed with respect for pollinators. When bees thrive, orchards, gardens and wild places thrive with them.

We want to care for creation as faithfully as it cares for us.
